Now available on Integrity-Wake.com for pre-order! The colors a little off on the internet, it will be coral :) Wasn’t planned but kind of ironic to pretty much be releasing it on v-day haha. Lot’s of hard work paid off, can’t wait to see it printed on a board!

I signed up for The Sketchbook Project, make myself draw more…escape from code. Convenient timing since I don’t have a laptop and somehow I have lots of free time. Blank pages are intimidating. I went with a random theme, and received ‘Revenge’. Interesting. Anyways, its touring the US with 8 stops including Winter Park, FL. So might as well. Sign up by the 15th of November!

Jest messing around with GSG’s sub polygon displacement tutorial. Pretty cool stuff. This would be awesome with some music based animation. I messed around for a while and this is the coolest result I got. Moon-like crater land.

…are never finished. Or are they? Some never see the light of day. Who is to say what is complete? The finest form of art is in the process. Some things don’t need an end. This had a good start, some good momentum. I’m not sure where it was supposed to go but this is where it currently is. Building. Structure. Dimension.

I stumbled upon Mark Weaver‘s site today…you might want to stumble over there yourself. Some really cool work. I think its the simple shapes, classic objects and colors that draw me in. I’m a fool for simple geometry and lines…

I’m trying to get my brain out of the coding mess and back into more design and creative realms. The easiest way is some good old tutorials to get the blood flowing in the right direction again and fuel some creativity…I hope this blog eventually turns into a mess of graphic experiments.

Chase‘s Washed Out video made Pitchfork‘s list of top music videos of 2009! Congrats Chase, and Fiction.

Also…Charles (Fiction‘s Creative Director) whipped up some sweet show visuals for the Viernes show last weekend. I missed it to due the Crash-O-Rama, but I heard it was great! Luckily we can still see pieces of the show visuals on vimeo:
