The Difference.

Riding in Tahoe vs. riding in Florida is two different things entirely…

Tahoe: Wake up around 6 or 6:30am (the water gets really boat choppy around 8-9am), drive 15 minutes to the boat. Call all of your friends to wake them up. Hop in a dingy and paddle out to the boat. Uncover. Head to the dock and hope at least two of your friends woke up because you have to have 3 people to ride (driver, spotter, and rider). Oh, and hope the lake is butter. It sucks waking up at 6 and driving to find a rough lake.

Orlando: Walk into your backyard and hop on the boat. Anytime of the day as long as there isn’t lightening. It’s that easy.

There are a ton more differences (tahoe: freezing water, being able to see 75 feet down, the boating lifestyle…etc). But I felt the paddling out in the dingy is the most important to share in this moment…
